What does logistics support include?
Operational schedules and team responsibilities, supplier coordination and the movement of materials and equipment, delivery, collection and site requirements, and on-site follow-up within the project scope. The aim is that every element is in place at the point the agreed schedule calls for it.
We already have our own suppliers. Do you work with them?
Yes, and existing suppliers and arrangements are among the first things we ask you to list. This is a coordinated service, so our role is to put everyone on a single operational schedule with clear responsibilities rather than duplicating or conflicting with what you have already booked.
Do you handle the transport and equipment movement yourselves?
No. It is a coordinated service, so the work is carried out by specialist suppliers while the council coordinates between them and arranges delivery, collection and site requirements. That gives you one point of follow-up instead of dealing with each supplier separately.
Are you on site on the day?
Yes, on-site follow-up within the agreed project scope is part of the service. What it involves is defined by the location, the timing and the resources you tell us are needed. The council's own work is concentrated at Katara Cultural Village in Doha.
