A planned international conference on strategic management organised by IBC in cooperation with UK-based Strategic Management College (SMC), scheduled for 25 and 26 December 2026 at Katara Cultural Village.
The conference brief sets out five research and dialogue tracks: personal strategy, family strategy, institutional strategy, community strategy and nonprofit-sector strategy, alongside a leadership dialogue. The proposed format includes keynote sessions, bilateral business meetings, a networking area, proposed leadership awards and a closing Doha declaration.
The council chairman met Dr Amr El-Hallawany, president of Strategic Management College, in preparation for the conference. The plan targets 150 in-person and 250 online attendees, 30 to 35 speakers, 20 to 25 sponsors, 300 bilateral business meetings, and 8 to 10 memoranda of understanding.
